What I carry with, in my wallet is a PICTURE of my family. My family means the world to me. I have my dad, mom, sister and I. We are 4 of us and right now we are separeted it living in different places, but with the same love as before. Having the picture of the 4 of us keep me happy and secure. Does not matter where we are or where are we living now, the love is always there, always the same. Family is first over everything, they are always there for me, supporting me and helping me and for that reason and many more I keep a picture of us with me all the times. I thank God everyday for the amazing family that I have.
BTW we are always traveling to see each other :)
Great post Vanessa, I think it is really cute that you carry a picture of your family in your wallet. I'm sure it comes in handy when you feel homesick. And you're right family is always first over everything.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a good strong bond with family it's hard being away from them for any amount of time. I'm a firm believer in the saying absence makes the heart grow fonder. When the reunion happens it will be that much sweeter! Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteThat's very sweet. I'm very close to my family too. Without them as support there's no way that I could be in school now. I also have no regrets about how much I've put into the relationships with them. That made my father's recent passing easier to deal with. We were close and talked all of the time, so I haven't thought once about how I missed out on him knowing that I loved him. Family is a priceless thing to have and I'm happy to see that you appreciate yours so much.
ReplyDeleteYou remind me when i first move to Florida i use to have my little album in my purse which it has our best souvenir. I use to look at those pictures when i was feeling lonely ,and sad.Since i am the youngest the only girl in the family with 3 brothers it was hard for me to survive those years . I know i hard it is for you hold on those picture that you have always stay in contact and soon all of you will be together ,wish you luck on your journey.
